TERI LYNNE graduated with a B.A. in Theatre Arts/Acting with honors from
the University of Winnipeg. She went on to receive her tMFA in Education, graduating
Magna Cum Laude. Teri’s background includes teaching drama and film at several well-known institutions such as:
The University of Winnipeg, Prairie Theater Exchange, Manitoba Theater for Young People and The Panache Talent Agency. Simultaneously,
she developed her own theater company The Backyard Theater School.
Additionally, she’s performed in both film and stage and appeared in feature films and TV movies.
A
move to the Cayman Islands brought another skill, working as a radio
personality on 96.5 Cayrock. While in the Cayman
Islands, she became a member of the very successful comedy troupe A.R.I.L.S.P.C.P.C.C.I.H.C.L.
that has received national attention. Now that Teri is in Orlando, she has been involved in several films (including Farlanders
and Never Backed Down) and stage projects (including Plaza Suite & Beckett Fest). Never
still for long, Teri launched a new sketch comedy troupe, Crash and Burn.
One of her favorite positions here is being the Orlando Producer for the internationally
acclaimed film competition The 48 Hour Film Project. And yet another
exciting achievement is being the co-author and publisher of her first book The Actor's
Vision. Currently Teri teaches for Slate Talent, My Art Studio, The People's Theater and a Disney after-school
program. We are pleased and excited to have her as a part of the LA Acting Workshop team!
